RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:

 

– Champion product launches from concept to mass production.

– Coordinate process, product design, mold design, paint, and assembly.

– Ensure adequate resources are assigned to all project tasks and report deficiencies to department managers.

– Address and resolve problems related to tasks, ensuring effective progress using time-bound program timelines.

– Conduct regular team communications meetings (APQP).

– Promote and foster a team environment within the department and throughout the division.

– Understand and apply company ISO and TS standards and requirements.

– Coordinate program activities and information from customer to all relevant departments.

– Support internal plant manufacturing, tooling, and continuous improvement activities during audits, providing evidence for conformance with standards and procedures, and participating in corrective action activities as needed.

– Compile and track all program costs, including tooling, gages, fixtures, racks, packaging, and assembly equipment, and report expenditures at senior management reviews.

– Maintain a financial program development cost system.

– Promote teamwork at all times.

– Ensure a clean and safe work environment is always maintained.

– Complete any other duties as assigned.

– Ensure sufficient resources are available for each department, including training, safety requirements, personnel, work instructions, procedures, and related tools.

– Assist any employee as necessary to promote successful operations and customer satisfaction.

– Direct supervisors in maintaining positive employee relations and a safe work environment.

– Ensure all employees receive proper training and understand all job tasks.

– Serve as the technical lead for allocated OEM.

– Develop and communicate processes to support OEM requirements and needs.

– Provide mentorship, oversight, and guidance to Program Managers supporting respective OEM new model programs.

– Manage and supervise OEM responsible Program Quality Engineer.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

– Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

– Recognized Engineering Technical Diploma in a related area.

– Preference for candidates with certification in Program Management.

 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

– 5-7 years’ experience in Program Management.

– Knowledge of Integrated Manufacturing and Design related to both OEM and manufacturing facilities.

– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Microsoft Project.
