The Program Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting activities within the Program Management Department at the company.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Oversee designated product launches from concept to mass production.
2. Coordinate processes, product design, mold design, paint, and assembly activities.
3. Ensure the allocation of sufficient resources to all project tasks and escalate deficiencies to department managers as needed.
4. Monitor task progress, address issues, and maintain adherence to time-bound program timelines.
5. Conduct regular team communication meetings following the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process.
6. Promote and cultivate a team-oriented environment within the department and across the division.
7. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s ISO and TS standards and requirements.
8. Facilitate the flow of program-related information between customers and various internal departments.
9. Support internal manufacturing processes, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives during management system audits, providing evidence of compliance with relevant standards and procedures, and participating in corrective actions as required.
10. Compile and track program costs, including tooling, gages, fixtures, racks, packaging, and assembly equipment, and report expenditures during senior management reviews.
11. Establish and manage a financial program development cost system.
12. Foster a spirit of teamwork throughout the organization.
13. Ensure a clean and safe work environment is consistently maintained.
14. Perform any other duties as assigned.
15. Ensure that each department has access to adequate resources, including training, safety requirements, personnel, work instructions, procedures, and necessary tools.
16. Provide necessary support to employees to ensure a successful operation and customer satisfaction.
17. Provide guidance to supervisors in maintaining positive employee relations and a safe work environment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
2. Recognized Engineering Technical Diploma in a related field.
3. Candidates with certification in Program Management will be given preference.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. 5-7 years of experience in the field of Program Management.
2. Proficiency in Integrated Manufacturing and Design related to both OEM and Manufacturing facilities.
3. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Project.
