– Utilize 2D CAD software to support manufacturing operations and prepare quotes for projects.
– Create and manage 3D models for product development, ensuring accurate design and manufacturing studies.
– Produce detailed 2D drawings for design, procurement, and production execution of prototypes and final products.
– Support the assembly, production, and modification of company products, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
– Conduct product trials, evaluations, and ongoing maintenance to ensure product quality and performance.
– Identify and recommend equipment and processes needed for efficient product manufacturing.
– Operate tools and equipment safely, following established protocols and guidelines.
– Coordinate and liaise with engineering and project management teams during product builds to ensure seamless integration and execution.
– Provide support for company activities at customer or subcontractor facilities, ensuring high-quality service and product delivery.
– Offer welding and fabrication assistance for various projects as required.
– Install specialized seating systems as needed, ensuring proper fit and function.
– Troubleshoot and retrofit equipment at company or customer facilities, addressing any issues promptly.
– Maintain awareness of health and safety standards, reporting and acting on any concerns.
– Ensure a clean, tidy, and healthy work environment at all times.
Qualifications:
– Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
– Relevant experience and qualifications in automotive engineering.
