– Manage daily financial and contract activities within the organization, ensuring alignment with delegated responsibilities and budgetary authority to capitalize on commercial opportunities in a timely manner.
– Handle accounts payable tasks such as generating transactions, posting vouchers, maintaining the check register, printing checks, and posting payments.
– Manage accounts receivable tasks including creating and posting customer invoices, entering payments, and distributing and posting payments.
– Assist other departments in planning, controlling, and monitoring financial performance targets, including developing product pricing, budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting, and providing other metrics for management decision-making.
– Maintain systems and procedures that protect the assets of the Company and ensure effective and efficient transaction processing.
– Implement and maintain internal control procedures.
– Lead the preparation of the financial section of commercial proposals.
– Prepare and maintain the annual budget and forecast budget in accordance with the requirements of the CEO and the Board of Directors.
– Supervise payroll processing to ensure accurate payments.
– Ensure all financial activities within the organization comply with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and best commercial practices.
– Ensure the annual financial audit is performed and provide information for annual tax return filings to the Company’s CPA firm.
